The move brings together HomeMaster, the fast-growing fully integrated web-based housing management and finance solution and Housing Online’s successful portal platform, My Home.

The alliance means customers of Designer Software will have two best-of-breed products in one place: a modern and highly functional housing and finance platform, seamlessly connected to an intuitive, feature-rich portal platform for tenants, staff and contractors.
Housing associations will benefit from a much-enhanced staff and customer experience at a time when they are increasingly looking for modern, forward-looking web products to enable them to work efficiently and to provide the very best service to their tenants.
The Housing Online and Designer Software collaboration unites two experts in their fields, each bringing an in-depth knowledge of housing, technology and highly usable design to enable even greater benefit and support for customers.

This new alliance has more than 110 customers and has ambitions to become the leading supplier of software solutions and services to the housing sector.
As part of this alliance, Designer Software has taken a 40% stakeholding in Housing Online. Housing Online will continue to run as a separate entity, providing other bespoke web services and solutions to customers of Designer Software, including standalone and integrated websites. Alongside this, Housing Online will continue to offer services to the wider industry, including These Homes, its choice-based lettings platform.
Housing Online will continue to provide existing customers with the same high levels of support they currently receive.
